FAMILY SPACE

You'll find our free family space on the first floor. This part of the gallery is designed especially for families. It's a great place to play, dance, relax, talk and have fun! We change the walls, the green screen and the activities regularly so it links to our exhibitions.

DAVE DRAWS

From 7 August, you'll see a special artwork by Manchester-based artist David Gee, known as Dave Draws on the wall of our Clore Studio. Dave will be drawing a special map of Liverpool and the City Region in his signature 'doodle' style. But he needs your help...

We want our map to show the places that are important to you, so please tell us! Whether it is a park, sports centre, community group, gallery, cinema, local chip shop or just a certain area – we want to know about it.

Please use the cards in our Clore Studio or tell us on social media which places in our city are important to you and why. Dave might pick your place to include on the map! See him draw live in our studio during the week of Monday 7 August.

Once the map is completed there will be stickers available for you to add other important places to the finished artwork and build an even better picture of our city!

EXPLORE AND DRAW

We invite you to Explore and Draw. Pick up a free sketchbook full of art activities and have fun exploring the galleries. Can you complete all the drawing challenges as you discover exciting artworks in our new display, Journeys through the Tate collection?
